Polish people couldn`t elect president
President of Poland will be known in second tour of elections.
As a result of first presidential election tour in Poland on Sunday, 2 leaders of right parties will meet in second tour. There were 12 candidates in election. Attendance of electors was a little less than 50%. Current president Aleksandr Kwasniewski couldn`t pretend on third term according to constitution.
Donald Tusk, a member of second party in parliament "Civic Platform" collected 38.5% of votes and mayor of Warszawa Lech Kachinsky, a leader of conservative party "Right and Justice", collected 33.3%.
On the third place with 13.2 % of votes is Anjei Lapper who is a president of "Self-defense" party.
Polish president Aleksandr Kwasniewski considers that country will participate in "interesting battle" during second tour of presidential election.
Commenting data of exit-polls, Kwasniewski said that none of candidates on president position - neither Donal Tusk nor Lech Kachinsky doesn`t have numeral superiority to say that "they won election".
By Kwasniewski words, the behavior of left electorate will be decisive. Answering question about personal preference he said: "I will listen to candidates. Depending on what they say I will make my decision. But I will, of course, participate in election in two weeks."
Candidate Lech Kachinsky is assured that in second tour of elections will win his idea of "the fourth Republic" and "conception of Polish solidarity". These ideas are slogans of his election campaign.
"A final will be in 2 weeks. Several days ago my rival had 10% advantage. At present moment it reduced to 6%", - said Kachinsky.
He declared that will be able to catch up with Tusk in following 2 weeks.
"I am sure that, finally, vision of unite Poland is more attractive to millions of Poles than liberal experiment", - said Kachinsky. He is sure that "conception of real changes to better will win".
